Cherry Bowl Drive In Theatre
The Cherry Bowl Drive In Theatre has been in continual operation every summer season since it was built in 1953. The focus of the Cherry Bowl has always been to provide "Fine Film, Food, Fun and Family Entertainment."
Point Betsie Lighthouse
The Point Betsie Lighthouse, Benzie County's most famous landmark, is located on the Lake Michigan shore of the county just south of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and just north of Frankfort, Michigan. Point Betsie is the second most photographed lighthouse in the USA, and likely the most visited attraction in Benzie County. Watching the sunsets from Point Betsie is a long-standing tradition.
Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore
The park was established primarily for its outstanding natural features, including forests, beaches, dune formations, and ancient glacial phenomena. The Lakeshore also contains many cultural features including an 1871 lighthouse, three former Life-Saving Service/Coast Guard Stations and an extensive rural historic farm district.
